Mike Agahee is the Western Regional Sales Director for Presstek.


JENNY ALLEN
Jenny Allen is the President of Advertising Production Association of Orange County (APAOC) and has been active on the Board of Directors for the last three years. She started her career in this industry as one of the first system operators in Los Angeles and has since worked at companies such as Merisel and DIRECTV as Production Manager. Presently, she is a consultant and freelances as a Production/Project Manager for companies such as Disney, Taco Bell, Bear Process in Southern California and advertising agencies.

DOUG GRANT
Doug Grant is president of Westamerica Graphics, located in Foothill Ranch CA. Founded in 1977, Westamerica has built its reputation as one of the premier printing and graphic communication companies in Orange County. They’ve won numerous quality awards, including three prestigious “Benny” awards for printing excellence. Doug is guiding the company through a transition from “PSP” (Print Services Provider) to “MSP” (Marketing Solutions Provider). Westamerica is now able to provide Integrated Marketing Solutions that drive business growth for their clients. Doug is a current Board member and past Chairman of PIA-SC, founding director of Graphics for Hope, and events director for Project Rwanda.


CRAIG HUEY
Craig Huey, president of Creative Direct Marketing Group, Inc., a full-service direct-response agency in Torrance, is publisher of the industry newsletter, Direct Response, and e-zine Direct Marketing Update. He is also president of InfoMat, a mailing-list and e-mail brokerage and management company. He is recognized as one of the nation’s top marketing experts and has made millionaires out of many entrepreneurs and helped large companies grow larger. Mr. Huey has taught direct response copy and marketing strategy at private corporate conferences and Direct Marketing Association conferences, and has won 72 awards for his breakthrough campaigns.


FRANK IANNUZZI
Frank Iannuzzi is Vice President of Management Services for the Printing Industries Association of Southern California. Since 1979 Frank has taught classes in Financial Management and Marketing and has been in charge of the local PIA Ratio Study program. He is involved in Business Valuations, Business Evaluations, Mergers and Acquisition activities and for over twenty years has been involved in updating the Blue Book of Production Standards and Hourly Costs publication. Over the years he has been responsible for developing and managing meetings, seminars, workshops and conventions for many of the association’s special industry groups as well as being the Executive Secretary of the Western Reprographics Association a separate association managed by PIASC dedicated to the reprographics industry. He has also been an industry presenter to many of the affiliate associations of PIA as well as the national organization. Frank has a BS in Business Administration from Cal State University Los Angeles and a MBA from Cal State University Dominguez Hills.


BOB LINDGREN
Bob Lindgren President and CEO of Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California, was a third generation Chicagoan before moving to Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business from which he holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance. He has spent a lifetime in the printing industry beginning with the Neely Printing Company in Chicago where he worked part-time while going to college and full-time thereafter. He then joined the staff of the Printing Industry of Illinois Association where he ultimately became General Manager. In 1982, he became President and CEO of Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California (PIASC). During his tenure the Association has grown to 1,460 member firms and 73 staff members. Today, PIASC is the largest local printing industry association (out of 28) in the United States. He is a frequent speaker and seminar leader on management for the printing industry throughout the United States and Canada and author of numerous articles for the trade press.


JOANNE MCDOWELL
Joanne McDowell is a Founding Director and Chief Technology Officer of Online Print Solutions, a leading vendor of Web to Print and Cross-Media solutions to the commercial print market. Joanne has played a key role in setting the strategic direction for development and engineering. A key element of her role involves spending significant time working directly with clients to develop real-world solutions that give them the tools they require to thrive in this time of significant upheaval in the printing industry. Joanne holds an honors degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin.


MAUREEN MURPHY
Maureen Murphy specializes in communicating the wellness message for marketers of health products and services. Her clients in this arena have includes, Harbor Health, Amazing-Solutions (through Beasley Direct Marketing), Real Health Laboratories, Dolisos homeopathics and Harbor Health and others. Her firm, Maureen Murphy Marketing, has special strengths in marketing to the end user for ecommerce, catalog and other direct marketing channel businesses.


JEAN-POL PEETERS
Originally from Belgium, Jean-Pol Peeters moved to Southern California in 1978, and then joined the US Air Force in 1980 until 1987. Jean-Pol has been involved in the Printing industry since 1987 when he joined Varityper, a Typesetting equipment manufacturing company. In 1991 Jean-Pol was hired on at Xerox where he was involved with the new evolving Digital Color Printing technologies, he has held a variety of Sales and Specialist positions catering to the Graphic Arts Industry. During his last 4 years tenure with Xerox, Jean-Pol introduced and launched the iGen 3 Digital Press to the West Coast of the United States. In 1996, Jean-Pol joined MMI and William Rivera’s team to set up a new Color Digital Division, Imago Digital where he holds the position of President.


WRICH PRINTZ
Wrich has led L2, Inc. as CEO since 2001 and has over 20 years of management and executive-level experience. Prior to L2, Wrich was vice president of client and network operations at ELetter, where he built their first class customer service, client service, and information technology teams. Wrich is the author of numerous articles on Multi-Channel and Cross Media marketing, and speaks frequently at industry trade shows focusing on new media technology.


RONALD SARNE
Ronald Sarne is the Business Development Manager for MarketMover in the Business Solutions & Services Group at Eastman Kodak Company. As a key element in Kodak’s initiative to provide mission-critical business solutions & services to the Graphic Communication sector, Ron works very closely with Kodak’s customers to assist in their transformation from a print service provider to a true, Digital Marketing Solutions Provider. He conducts seminars in training the graphic arts management and sales team to develop and implement Digital Marketing Programs utilizing ‘1 to 1 Marketing’ principles to produce Print-on-Demand, Variable Data Print, Web-enabled Print and Integrated Campaign solutions … all necessary to compete and be successful in today’s changing marketplace. Ron also consults with the corporate customers to strategize and implement a scalable Digital Marketing Business Plan, utilizing print, web and email as valuable communication vehicles when used in conjunction with one another. In addition, he works closely with industry organizations and associations in the creative and corporate marketing sectors to better educate and inform on these new opportunities. Ron has 15 years of experience in the Print & Digital Imaging industry. He has been involved in all aspects of the Sales, Marketing and Business Development processes in the industries of Graphic Communication, internet and e-commerce technology development and also IT consulting services. Based in San Francisco’s Bay Area, Ron has a degree in Graphic Communication from California Polytechnic State University (’Cal Poly’) in San Luis Obispo, where he also guest lectures throughout the year.


BRENT SHOJI
Brent Shoji is Vice President of Marketing at MMi, a fully integrated direct mail house offering mailing, data and digital solutions. Prior to MMi, Brent was with Burton, Livingstone & Kirk (BLK), a Southern California based marketing firm expert in research/analytics, branding/positioning, market planning and direct response marketing. MMi was a BLK client, and Brent managed the MMi account for BLK. While at BLK, Brent was heavily involved with all aspects of the firm’s business, including project management, market research and analysis, creating and implementing marketing plans, telemarketing management, database building, media evaluation and negotiation, and more. He was able to hone his management, research, and analysis skills while working on a diverse array of accounts. He is highly regarded and was promoted 4 times over 4 years. Prior to joining BLK Brent was the Manager of Corporate Relations and Special Events at Chapman University, where he worked full time while simultaneously obtaining undergraduate and MBA degrees. At Chapman Brent did market and database research, solicited and secured corporate donations, helped build and implement a 5-year strategic plan, and more. Brent was an academic superstar, managing to obtain top marks while working 40 hours per week in a challenging professional position. He earned his BA and MBA from Chapman University, graduating magna cum laude both times, and in the top 10 of his MBA class. A Southern California native, Brent serves on the boards of two local non-profits. He and his wife live with their two pugs in Mission Viejo, where he enjoys playing soccer, tennis and basketball.


COLIN SMITH
Colin Smith is a best-selling author, trainer, and award-winning new-media designer who has caused a stir in the design community with his stunning photorealistic illustrations composed entirely in Photoshop, and is also known as a pioneer of HDR photography. He is founder of the world’s most popular Photoshop resource site, PhotoshopCAFE.com, which boasts over 20 million visitors. He is a regular columnist for Photoshop User magazine and has been featured in most major imaging magazines including, Computer Arts, Macworld, After Capture, PSD Photoshop, Advanced Photoshop, Photoshop Creative, Digital Photographer, Web Designer magazine and a host of others. He’s authored or co-authored more than eighteen books on Photoshop and created the Photoshop Secrets Video training series. He is in high demand across the United States as a lecturer, presenting his Photoshop techniques to Photographers and graphics professionals across the nation. Colin has consulted such companies as Adobe Systems, Edison International, Apple and Disney Studios.


JOHN SPARKS
John is the lean six sigma leader for corporate shared services at Beckman Coulter. He has worked with global teams on cross-functional processes like Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay, as well as functional processes in the Finance, IT, HR, and Legal departments. His recent work includes helping the Marketing Communications team and the Copy Center to improve their own processes and work better together. His prior work experience includes roles in business intelligence, financial systems, financial planning & analysis, R&D program and project management, and U.S. Navy operations. John has a B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering from The University of Kansas and M.B.A. from The University of California, Irvine, and is a currently working to earn his Six Sigma Black Belt.


AARON STEAD
Aaron Stead is the Director of Business Development and an integral component of the growth strategy at Infusionsoft, the leader in Email Marketing 2.0. As a visionary in the software industry, Stead has a keen ability to educate stakeholders about cutting-edge marketing strategies and help them understand how to apply the concepts in their day-to-day activities to boost profits. Stead has a strong background in CRM software and prior to joining Infusionsoft, he grew several revenue channels for Sage Software and SalesLogix. He has a Business Administration degree from W.P. Carey School at Arizona State University and a Masters degree from the Ken Blanchard School of Business at Grand Canyon University.


TOM STODOLA
Tom is an independent auditor conducting FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) audits on behalf of Scientific Certification Systems located in Emeryville, CA. Since 2009, Tom has conducted over 40 FSC audits, from commercial printers to lumber yards and manufacturers of wood products. He is in the process of becoming certified to conduct SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) audits. Prior to joining SCS, Tom was Director of Management Services, PIASC for over twenty years. Tom has a B.S. in Graphic Communications from Cal Poly SLO and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.


TRACEY VEAL
Tracey Veal is a health care marketing executive at Aetna where she is responsible for strategic partnerships with the medical community, non-profit, and private sectors. A healthcare industry veteran with over 25 year’s experience, Tracey joined Aetna in 2005 as part of its Medicare expansion and was instrumental in positioning Aetna to become the fastest growing Medicare Advantage Plan in the West in 2008. She is well recognized for collaborating with community organizations to develop and implement health initiatives with broad appeal. Prior to joining Aetna, Tracey was a Hospital Administrator for Catholic Healthcare West, where she received national acclaim from various media including CNN, the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times as a spokesperson for factors contributing to hospital closures. Tracey launched her career in clinics and hospitals in Georgia and served as a Governor’s Intern for the State of Georgia Department of Medical Assistance.


DEVIN VOORSANGER
Devin Voorsanger is Director of Client Services for Easypurl. He has been working in the Interactive world for 14 years, longer than even Al Gore. Before most of us were using email, in the mid-nineties Devin was charged with creating the online presence for a well-known publisher, and brought the magazine’s loyal following online, while ensuring that the organization’s online presence adequately represented it brand and image. In 1999, Devin founded the interactive marketing firm Parabolica, where he created web presences and charted marketing strategies for clients as diverse as Luminant Worldwide, JWT, De Beers and JVC. Four years later, Parabolica merged with Viking, Hospitality Marketing and Media to offer cross-channel marketing and performance marketing strategies for the travel, cultural, and hospitality industries. Today, Devin is a leading authority on leveraging personalization, marketing automation and cross-channel marketing technologies to enable high-performance marketing campaigns for direct marketers. He specializes in the incorporation of Personalized URLs (PURLs) into social, broadcast and direct response marketing initiatives. NANCY WALLAN
Nancy works as a graphic communications industry consultant, advising clients on market development and implementation. Her expertise includes direct selling, sales management process, business collaterals, strategic business and marketing plans, application software and Internet solutions. Nancy Wallan’s experience in the digital printing marketplace spans over twenty five years. She began her career at Xerox Corporation where she led the way in direct sales and was awarded with two Region Star Awards (best in the West), achieving many President’s Club honors.


LINDA YORK
Linda York is a marketing strategist who specializes in creating partnerships between healthcare program creators and distributors who want to use new media to provide services. As Creative Director of Beachbody, she started expanding the focus of the company from primarily weight loss to targeting specific health conditions and pioneered a co-venture with the American Diabetes Association. She works with Beachbody now as a wellness coach who introduces and implements the Beachbody model to corporations, communities, and integrative physicians looking for cost effective, proven solutions for employee wellness programs.


LARRY ZUSMAN
Larry Zusman is Worldwide Marketing Manager for XMPie Inc. He has over 25 years experience in direct marketing, advertising and print communications, serving as an executive for agencies, corporations and print providers. He is a noted seminar speaker on the subject of one-to-one marketing, cross-media communications and digital print, and a frequent presenter at industry conferences, including On Demand, Graph Expo, Print, drupa, Ipex, DMA and Xerox worldwide events. He is also a frequent contributor to industry publications and online sites.
